Welcome to Glenholme House Day Centre

Our day care centre is a special facility in the Roker area of Sunderland, attached to our Glenholme House residential care home. It is an ideal choice for elderly people who may live alone in their own home or with relatives, but who would like to enjoy new activities or just socialising with people in their own age group. We offer a wide range of activities the highlight of the day is the home cooked lunch which is served in the dining room overlooking the garden. For some people just being able to talk to someone else is enough – whether its another resident, or one of our team of expert carers.

The day centre is open to everyone and we can collect you from your home or place of choice and drop you off at the end of the day. Read our brochure

Meet the Glenholme Day Centre Manager

Glenholme Day Centre is open to everyone. We would love you to come and join us once a week or even more often! Our day rate includes transport to and from your home, activities and outings and a mouth watering home cooked lunch. Personal services are available at very reasonable rates ie. Hairdressing, Chiropody etc.
