Providing help to carers in need of a break

Looking after an elderly relative or friend can be very rewarding but it can also put tremendous strain on carers. At Glenholme Day Centre we are able to provide respite care for just a few hours or even a full day. This will hopefully give you enough time to have a break and recharge our batteries, in the knowledge your loved one is receiving the best possible care.

Apart from benefiting carers, respite care is also good for the elderly person because it provides them with a change of scenery and the chance to meet other people.
